Honoring Charlee Branch
Basketball Tournament Nov. 12- 17, 2012
Clarksburg School kicked off the Charlee Branch Memorial Tournament on Friday, November 9th. A pep assembly was held in the gym after students recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Cheerleading coach Billy Barnett told the student body about Charlee and how much she enjoyed basketball. Afterwards the girls and boys basketball teams where introduced, as the players tore through the banner. The cheerleaders preformed their cheer dance as they entertained to crowd. Once the cheerleaders finished the basketball players were partnered up for a game. The winners were Bryant Carpenter and Brittney Ellington. The cheerleaders lead the victory chant as each class competed to be the loudest. The spirit stick was awarded to the 5th grade!
