September Awards Assembly
Once a month selected students will receive students of the month awards, perfect attendance awards as well as other various awards. The assembly for the month of September took place on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.Seventeen students received perfect attendance for the month meaning they were never tardy, no early departures and no days absent. Students received a certificate and ice cream at lunch. There were seven students who received the student of the month award. These awards are given based on attendance, helpfulness, citizenship, academic performance and more. Chosen students received a certificate, a free homework pass and a gift card to Sonic. Honor roll awards will be given out after first quarter to students in grades 4-8. For high honor roll students must receive an A average for the quarter and for honor roll studnets must receive an A/B average for the quarter.
