Growing Beans
The 3rd and 4th grade class conducted an experiment with beans. The soaked the beans in water, then placed three beans in a sandwich bag that had water and a paper towel in it. They then hung the beans on the windows so they could get the need sunlight to grow. Most of the beans did sprout before the students took them home. They also split open green beans and corn kernels to take a look at the inside.
