Mrs. Amanda Nolting

I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Clarksburg School District.

I earned my degrees from Park University in 2006, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in Business Administration and Marketing. In 2019, I received my Educator’s Certificate in Elementary Education.

For the past nine years, I taught at St. Andrew Catholic School. I began my career there with 6th–8th graders for three years, then spent the last six years teaching 3rd grade. Each age group has been a joy to work with — from the big leaps of middle school to the sweet discoveries of elementary students.

Much of what has prepared me for teaching comes from my lifelong love of children and my role as a mom. Nurturing, guiding, and cheering kids on comes naturally to me — it’s part of who I am both at home and in the classroom.

I chose a career in education because there’s nothing better than seeing smiling faces, hearing laughter, and knowing I’ve sparked curiosity and joy in a child’s day. Helping students grow, learn, and believe in themselves makes every moment worthwhile.

I was drawn to Clarksburg School District because of its small, family-like community. Here, I can truly get to know my students, their families, and the community while building stronger connections and working closely with colleagues who share the same heart for kids.

My goals for this year are to create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to learn, while helping them grow not only academically but also in kindness and confidence.

In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with a good book and spending time with my family.
