I am Sherry Owens. I have been teaching for 25 years. I have a Bachelors of Music Education, K-12, a Master Degree in Guidance and Counseling, a Library Specialist Degree, and Certification in Art. I teach Music, Library, Art and Band, Grades K-8. I live in California, Missouri near the High School with my two dogs, Loki and Scooter. I have two grown daughters and 6 grandchildren.
In all of my classes, I use verbal and in class written instruction as well as projects in the older grades. I teach both Beginning and Bulldog Band . We do two to three parades each year. We also do two programs each year, one at Christmas and one in the Spring. Fourth through Eighth grades go to the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art on the State Fair Community College Campus each year.
